Why I can’t see results?

Are you not exactly seeing results commensurate with all that hard work you put in the gym?Could it be harder for some people to get fit than other people? What are the reason behind it?

Why many people struggle just to maintain weight or shave a few seconds off from their 5/10K personal record?

In 2011 a group of scientists (exercise physiologist Dan Zeman)measured the effects of a 21-week on 175 previously sedentary adults, with some subjects undertaking a combined strength-and-endurance regimen and others focusing on either strength or endurance training. “The participants”responses to exercise were very confusing, with some experiencing an 8% decline in overall fitness and others showing a 42% improvement.

The reason behind those results is all about basic genetics and 3 different body types. The endomorph, the mesomorph and the ectomorph.

•The endomorph body type is solid and generally soft. Endomorphs gain fat very easily.

•The mesomorph has a large bone structure, large muscles and a naturally athletic physique.

•The ectomorph is a typical skinny guy. Ecto’s have a light build with small joints and lean muscle.

Depending on physiological and body type, people are usually better suited to some forms of exercise than others. For example, ectomorphs tend to excel at endurance sports, while mesomorphs and endomorphs will perform better in shorter-duration power type of training .

In the majority of cases most people have a combination of two body types. These combinations are either ectomorph/mesomorph or mesomorph/endomorph.

Of course, none of this means that anyone should give up on cardiovascular program,or weight training (research says). It’s just that not everyone will have the same degree or percentage of improvement.

It is important to establish your goals first when you exercise. If you don’t even have the right body type to run a marathon, you shouldn’t train to run 5 marathons in one year. Of course you can try! but… it will almost certainly lead you to a serious injury, and It will take time to recover.

If you are looking to improve your health, find something that you can enjoy and tolerate, don’t overtrain just to burn off extra calories.

Everyone can get results, the difference is that for some people it will take longer. The most important thing is to create an habit of a regular tendency or practice of some sort of exercise every day. No matter what…,if it’s raining, stress, injuries(depending of the gravity),work, kids, etc etc,we gotta find the time to move… and move well and smart. There are no excuses.

If something works for you keep it up!If it doesn’t work change it! adapt to it! or live with it!
