Moving our bodies daily is very important, not just for our body but also for our mental health.
When we move our hearts beat faster, that improves circulation,it helps to carry away waste products,It can also boost your energy and improve your mood. The benefits are so many.
What can we do to move more ?
•If you don’t like what you do the chances that you won’t do it are very high, even if you are motivated. You gotta try to find something that you enjoy, at least to get you started.
•You don’t like to move by yourself, find somebody to share the experience.Find a workout buddy.
•Maybe you don’t have the knowledge and the motivation? Then I would seriously consider to hire a personal trainer to help you to achieve your goals.Did you know that if you have a specific appointment with somebody, it will increase your chance of success by 95%? Everything changes when you put in place an accountability system. The only 2 things you have to be sure of are…a clear goal and to let others help you achieve it. Just hire a fitness professional/coach.
•Apart from your scheduled training routine,do you move enough during the day?It is very important to stand a lot during your day. Here are few ideas that might help you to find your way:
-Take walking meeting.
-Buy a standing desk.
-Watch a movie sitting on the ground not on your sofa.
-Don’t drive everywhere, leave your car at home as much as you can.
-Take the stairs not the elevator.
-Play games with your kids.
-Do a deep cleaning of the house once a week, there must be a reason why they call it housework.
-Meet your friend in the park.
Those are just few examples, but there are many others. Remember to set times for yourself, have fun,get some exercise in,rest…but after all this don’t treat yourself too much..you gotta keep moving!Your body will thank you.
I would like to share those two funny videos of me doing some cleaning at home and making a cake just to give you few ideas and have a bit of laugh.Movement can be done anytime, anywhere.
I hope you enjoy it
Moving is the simplest thing to do because it’s everywhere.
